Why Ye Olde?
Our customers have varied reasons for visiting but many have become regulars. So why do they come?
We talk to many customers who first visited as children on the regular Saturday shopping trips to Gloucester.
A fish ‘n’ chip lunch or supper was a treat and a highlight for them and these lovely people now bring their own children
and grandchildren to experience the tradition.
As we are within easy walking distance of Kingsholm, home of Gloucester’s famous Cherry and White’s rugby team,
if you happen to be about on a match day then you will easily spot the queues of hungry fans outside
as they line up for their traditional match day fare.
Gloucester is a city steeped in history and it is no wonder that so many tourists flock to see the sites.
We are just a stone’s throw from Gloucester’s marvellous Cathedral and we are happy to serve visitors
a traditional British meal in a remarkable historic building.
And then there are people who just come along because our food is so good!
