Locally Sourced Drinks

Wherever possible Ye Olde like to support local suppliers. Take our drinks for example, locally sourced from Stroud Brewery and Woodchester Valley Winery. Try for yourself the delicious and local drinks on offer – and please feel free to give us your feedback too.

Woodchester Valley Winery

Woodchester Valley is a family owned boutique vineyard and winery in the South Cotswolds. They have three vineyard sites in the Stroud valleys which produce a range of still white, rosé and sparkling wines.

They are located in Amberley, Woodchester and Doverow Hill (Stonehouse), with a total of 45 acres under vine. They grow ten different grape varieties, which are used to create their wines in the winery at Woodchester farm.

A fine local wine that we are proud to serve at Ye Olde Fish Shoppe. Please feel free to give us your feedback on the wine!

Stroud Brewery

Stroud Brewery began in 2006, renting a small unit in Thrupp, on the edge of Stroud, a vibrant Cotswold town. Greg Pilley set out with a vision to brew delicious beer with integrity – a thriving enterprise that would support the community, the environment and other local businesses.

They have created a range of organic beers that they are really proud of, because they taste great and their production supports the local farmers and the ecosystems they manage. There are standards Stroud Brewery must adhere to for organic certification support their ambition to be a business that cares for people and planet.

Brennen & Brown Gin

Brennen & Brown founder and Managing Director, Rich Bamber found himself turning his love of gin and ginger into a fast growing business of it’s own. From owning a successful information technology company initially, Rich Bamber now operates the Brennen & Brown distillery from Alstone Lane in Cheltenham.

Like their logo says, there’s always time for a Gin!

Why not have a little tipple? And of course, let us know what you think!
